When you click the Reservation link on the main screen, one of a number of different subtasks displays depending on the Message and Supply Type settings of the selected line on the main screen.
Use this subtask to view and update details of the transfer reservation/request referenced in the selected MPS action message row in the main screen. A transfer reservation represents a future change in ownership of inventory from one inventory abbreviation/project to another. You cannot modify values on this screen if you did not select the Allow Reservation Maintenance check box in the Action Message Screen group box on the Configure Material Requirements Planning Settings screen.
This field displays the ID for the part on the selected action message on the main screen.
This field displays the part revision number.
This field displays the part description.
This field displays the part's default or inventory unit of measure.
This field displays the action message suggested for the manufacturing (for example, Cancel Order, Reschedule Order, or Decrease Qty.)
This field displays the ID of the reservation referenced on the MPS action message.
This field displays the line number within the reservation referenced by the MPS action message.
This field displays the employee ID of the person who requested the inventory.
This field displays the status of the reservation. Values are:
Approved
Pending
This field displays the planner assigned to the reservation.
This field displays the To warehouse ID of the reservation.
This field displays the ID of the inventory abbreviation from which the inventory is transferred. MPS treats this as a demand requirement for this inventory abbreviation. The name of the inventory abbreviation displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.
This field displays the ID of the inventory project linked to the From Inv Abbrev.
This field displays the ID of the inventory abbreviation to which the inventory is transferred. MPS treats this as a supply for this inventory abbreviation. The name of the inventory abbreviation displays in the adjacent unlabeled field.
This field displays the ID of the project associated with the To Inv Abbrev.
Enter, or click to select, the date the inventory transfer takes place for this reservation line.
This field displays the MPS-calculated date when the transfer reservation line takes place to meet requirements.
Enter the quantity to be transferred. You can modify this field if you selected the Allow Reservation Maintenance check box on the Configure Material Requirements Planning Settings screen. Enter the quantity to be transferred on the reservation line.
This field displays the transfer reservation quantity suggested by the MPS process.
