Use this subtask for copying an assembly from another part/revision. This subtask is disabled if the Assembly Part field is populated for the selected line in the MBOM Chng Assy table window.
Enter, or click to select, the component part ID from which you want to copy assembly parts. The component part ID must be a valid one from the Manage Manufacturing Bills of Material screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.
Enter, or click to select, the component part revision from which you want to copy assembly parts. The component part revision must be a valid one from the Manage Manufacturing Bills of Material screen.
This field displays the component part description.
This field is visible only if the Use Part Data Security Controls check box is selected on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, which indicates that the replacement part is subject to data security restrictions, as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
If enabled, this field displays one of the following values to indicate whether the part is subject to part data security restrictions and whether you have the necessary authorization to access information for that part:
Unrestricted — The part is not subject to data security restrictions.
Restricted — The part is subject to data security restrictions and you are authorized to access detailed part information.
***UNAUTHORIZED*** — The part is subject to data security restrictions and you are not authorized to access or view part information. This value is displayed in red background color.
Enter, or click to select, the as-of effective date of the MBOM for which you want to pull assemblies. Only assemblies in effect as of this date will be copied.
Enter, or click to select, the MBOM configuration for which you want to pull assemblies. Only those assemblies in effect for this configuration will be copied. This field will be hidden if you did not select the Use Configuration IDs check box on Configure Bills of Material Settings screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.
Click this button to copy an MBOM assembly from the selected part.
