Use this subtask to specify the labor classifications used in the routing step. The New Record button will be disabled if the selected line is a subcontract operation (that is, if the Labor/Subcontract field is Subcontract on the main screen).
You can set up this subtask when you create the routing step, and maintain it whenever modifications to labor classifications are necessary.
Use this group box to specify the source of labor classifications for this work center. Specify the work center's labor classifications or the operation's labor classifications and then click the Autoload button. You must have already set up labor classifications in either the Maintain Labor Operations screen or the Maintain Work Centers screen for this work center.
Select the Work Center option to load the work center's labor classifications when you click the Autoload button.
Select the Operation option to load the operation's labor classifications when you click the Autoload button.
Enter, or click to select, the ID of the labor classification used by the routing step.
This column displays the description associated with the labor classification. If the Labor Classification field is blank, you can click and select a classification through its description.
Enter the number of employees the step requires under this labor classification. This field may already display the quantity of employees that was specified for this labor classification when the work center was originally created, but it can be overridden.
This column loads the skill code that was initially assigned to the selected labor classification.
This column loads the skill code description.
This field loads the General Labor Category (GLC) code that was initially assigned to the labor classification.
This field displays the GLC description.
Click the Autoload button to load the labor from the operation or work center if the information has been set up in the Maintain Work Centers screen, Maintain Labor Operations or Maintain Subcontractor Operations screens.
