Use this subtask to view the list of documents linked to the selected part and maintain the modifications this ECN will require. The table window displays part document information from the Document subtask of the Manage Parts screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
This field displays the change-to part ID from the main screen if the Action Code is Add, Replace, or New Revision in the Parts Impacted table window in the main screen. This field displays the original part ID from the main screen if the Action Code from the main screen is Obsolete or Change.
This field displays part revision code from the main screen.
This field displays the part description from the Manage Parts screen.
This field is visible only if the Use Part Data Security Controls check box is selected on the Configure Product Definition Settings screen, which indicates that the replacement part is subject to data security restrictions, as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
If enabled, this field displays one of the following values to indicate whether the part is subject to part data security restrictions and whether you have the necessary authorization to access information for that part:
Unrestricted — The part is not subject to data security restrictions.
Restricted — The part is subject to data security restrictions and you are authorized to access detailed part information.
***UNAUTHORIZED*** — The part is subject to data security restrictions and you are not authorized to access or view part information. This value is displayed in red background color.
Click this button to automatically load the new documents into the ECN Documents subtask for this part. All documents not flagged for deletion will be added to this screen for linking to the part displayed on this screen.

This field displays the line number, which automatically increases by one for each line added.
From the drop-down list, select the action that this ECN will perform. Valid options are:

Enter, or click to the type code of the document to be affected by this ECN. This type code must be a valid code from the Manage Document Types screen in Costpoint Bills of Material and Product Definition.
Enter, or click to select, the document ID to be affected by this ECN. This document ID must be either a valid ID from the Manage Documents screen in Costpoint Bills of Material and Product Definition, or for a new document identified in the ECN Documents subtask for this ECN.
Enter, or click to select, the document revision to be affected by this ECN. The document type, ID, and revision combination must already exist on the Manage Documents screen, or for a new document identified in the ECN Documents subtask for this ECN.
This field displays the name of document.
This field displays the location of the document. The default location for that type code (that is, where the document is stored) is loaded into the Location column. If you move the document, you can update this field in either Costpoint Product Definition or Bills of Materials. Select the Launch button to access the document.
This field displays the status of document.
Enter, or click to select, the date on which the document should become effective for the part. The default is the effective date for the part from the main screen.
Enter, click to select, the date on which the document will no longer be effective for the part. This date must be later than the Effective Start Date.
Enter, or click to select, the part's BOM configuration for which the document will be effective. If entered, this configuration must exist in Costpoint Bills of Material. This field is hidden if you did not select the Use Configuration IDs check box on the Configure Bills of Materials Settings screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.
Select this check box if this document should be referenced on POs, requisitions, and RFQs for this part.
Select this check box if this document should be referenced on receipt travelers for this part.
Select this check box if this document should be referenced on MO assembly sheets for this part.
Select this check box if this document should be referenced on MO routing travelers for this part in this required field.
