Messages

What can I do in this screen?

Use this screen to view notification messages of completed activities.  [This subtask automatically displays by default along with the Activities table window].

 A message will display in the message inbox until you delete the message or you purge the in-progress data for this Workflow case.

[You can purge historical Workflow data in the Purge Historical Data screen in Costpoint client/server (Others\Workflow\Conclude).]

When should I use this screen?

All users associated with roles in defined Workflows can use this screen whenever they choose to view message data.

Field Descriptions

Workflow

The system automatically displays the Workflow ID in this non-editable field.

Completed Activity

The system automatically displays the completed activity in this non-editable field.

Activities are established in the Define Workflow Models screen in Costpoint client/server (Others\Workflow\Design).

Completed Option

If there are multiple options to complete this activity, the system displays the selected option in this non-editable field. If there were no multiple options, this field is blank.

Activities are established in the Define Workflow Models screen in Costpoint client/server (Others\Workflow\Design).  The required or optional characteristic of the activity is established in the Options subtask of  the Define Workflow Models screen in Costpoint client/server (Others\Workflow\Design).

Date/Time

The system automatically displays the data and time the activity was completed in this non-editable field.

Priority

The system automatically displays the priority value of importance you designated for the completion of this activity in this non-editable field.

A value of "1" indicates the highest priority, while "100" is the lowest priority.

Activities are established in the Define Workflow Models screen in Costpoint client/server (Others\Workflow\Design).  The priority of the activity is established in the Options subtask of  the Define Workflow Models screen in Costpoint client/server (Others\Workflow\Design).

Case

The system automatically displays the case identifier in this non-editable field.

The case identifier was system-generated when you initiated the Workflow.

Case Values

The system automatically displays the case values in this non-editable field.

Completed By

The system automatically displays the name of the user that completed the activity in this non-editable field.

* A red asterisk denotes a required field.
