Use the fields in this subtask to assign "Read-Only", "Full", or "Deny" rights in one or more Costpoint modules to a user group by company.
In this subtask, a non-editable list of Costpoint modules displays in the Module List left-hand table window. Click on the "Select" pushbutton to move module information from the selected row to the Module Rights right-hand table window, where you can select the type of rights and company.
You can alternatively bypass the "Select" process and add new module rows by company directly in the Module Rights right-hand table window.
Use this screen whenever you want to assign module rights for one or more specific user groups.
Use the fields in this table window to view a list of Costpoint modules. Highlight a row for which you want to assign module rights by company for the user group and click on the "Select" pushbutton to move module information from the selected row to the Module Rights right-hand table window.

The module ID automatically displays in this non-editable field.
The data in this table window is system-maintained in the S_MODULE_LIST (Module List) table.
The name associated with the Module field in this row automatically displays in this non-editable field.
The name of the domain containing this module displays in this non-editable field. The domains are the main tabs on the Costpoint screen: Accounting, People, Projects, Materials, and Administration.

If you want to enter new data directly in this table window (thus bypassing the Select process from the Module List left-hand table window, enter, or use Lookup to select, the module ID.
The Lookup data is from the S_MODULE_LIST (Module List) table.
The name associated with the Module field in this row automatically displays in this non-editable field.
Use the drop-down box to select the type of rights to assign to the user group for this module for this company.
You can select "Read-Only," "Full," or "Deny" rights, as follows:
With "Read-Only" rights, the user can access the module and can select and view data but cannot update data.
With "Full" rights, the user can access the module, select data, and update data.
With "Deny" rights, the user cannot access the module.
Company *
For existing data, the company ID automatically displays in this non-editable field for the row.
If you selected a row of data from the Module List left-hand table window, enter, or use Lookup to select, the company ID for this user's module rights.
For a new record entered directly in this table window (thus bypassing the Select process from the Module List left-hand table window), enter, or use Lookup to select, the company ID.
You can enter "ALL" in this field to automatically assign rights for this module to this user group across all companies.
This non-editable field only displays if the Enforce Segregation of Duties Rules checkbox is selected in the Corporate Settings subtask of the System Settings screen (Administration\Configure System). One of the following status statements populates the field:
System Approved - The system has verified that there are no segregation of duties conflicts for this right
In Conflict - The system has determined that one or more segregation of duties conflicts exist for this right. The rights cannot be used unless manually overridden using the Override Segregation of Duties Conflicts application (Administration\Process\Segregation of duties).
Delete Conflict - An attempt to delete this right has failed, since deleting the rights record would cause one or more segregation of duties conflicts.
Manually Approved - The system has determined that one or more segregation of duties conflicts exist for this right, but the conflicts have been manually overridden.
Pending - An assigned right has yet to be checked for segregation of duties conflicts. The Identify Segregation of Duties Conflicts process (Administration\Process\Segregation of Duties) must be run before this assigned right can be used.
Delete Requested - An attempt to delete this right must be checked for segregation of duties conflicts. The Identify Segregation of Duties Conflicts process Administration\Process\Segregation of Duties) must be run before this assigned right can be deleted.
