Use this screen to assign requisitions to buyers. You can also use this screen to view requisition and buyer assignments.
If a requisition has not been previously assigned to a buyer and this requisition has an approval status of "Pending," "In-Approval," or "Approved," the requisition will be non-editable.
Upon initial access to this screen, you can view requisition records which are sorted by requisition ID. If you modify data in the Default Assignment Date field or the Include Assigned Requisitions checkbox, you must click on the Execute icon to retrieve records that meet the conditions you specified in these fields. In addition, you can click on the Query icon to retrieve records based on additional parameters.
This screen displays Approval Process subtask, which allows you to add, edit, and/or view the requisition approval process status. This screen also displays the Assign Lines subtask, which allows you to assign specific requisition lines to buyers.
Use this screen to assign requisitions to buyers.
It is a good practice to allow the Purchasing Managers and other personnel in your Purchasing Department to have access to this application. Designating specific personnel to assign requisitions prevents individual buyers from being overloaded with disproportionate number of requisitions.
