Use the fields in this tab to enter the primary grouping, selection ranges by project and project manager, accounting period, sorting information, and various printing options.
Use this tab after you have run the Update Other Project Report Tables screen (Projects\Process\Project).
Use the fields in this group box to select sorting and collating options, and to select range option for projects and project managers.
Use the fields in this group box to select options for report grouping and sorting.
Group By *
Use this drop-down box to select the primary grouping for the report. Available options are "Projects," "Alternate Reportings," "Owning Organizations," "Performing Organizations," "Accounts," and "Labor Categories."
The report will use this criterion as the primary sort. You can identify secondary sorts in the Select group box.
Use this drop-down box to select a collate option.
Available options are "Owning Organizations," "Performing Organizations," "Project Managers," "Project Types," or "None."
Use this option to sort the report for distribution purposes. Note that this option is available only if the primary grouping selection is "Project."
Projects *
Use this drop-down box to select the range of projects that you want to include on the report. The following options are available:
All - Select this option to include all available projects. The Start and End fields are disabled for this option.
One - Select this option to include only one project. You must enter that value in the Start field. The End field is disabled for this option.
Range - Select this option to include a contiguous range of projects. You must enter the beginning value for the range in the Start field and the ending value of the range in the End field.
From Beginning - Select this option to include all the projects from the beginning of the available projects to a specific project in the range. You must enter the last value for the range in the End field. The Start field is disabled for this option.
To End - Select this option to include all the projects from a specific project to the end of all the available projects. You must enter the value from which the range should begin in the Start field. The End field is disabled for this option.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, a starting project number for the range that you want to include on the report.
If you select "One," "Range," or "To End," in the Projects Option field, you must enter a project number in this field.
If you select "All" or "From Beginning" in the Projects Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, an ending project number for the range that you want to include on the report.
If you select "All," "Range," or "From Beginning" in the Projects Option field, you must enter a project number in this field.
If you select "One" or "To End" in the Projects Option field, this field will be inactive.
Use this field to select a noncontiguous range of projects to print on the report. This field is enabled only when you have selected "Projects" in the Group By field of the Primary Grouping group box.
Use the Project Non-Contiguous Ranges subtask to enter the project ranges.
Project Managers *
Use this drop-down box to select the range of project managers that you want to include on the report. The following options are available:
All - Select this option to include all available project managers. The Start and End fields are disabled for this option.
One - Select this option to include only one project manager. You must enter that value in the Start field. The End field is disabled for this option.
Range - Select this option to include a contiguous range of project managers. You must enter the beginning value for the range in the Start field and the ending value of the range in the End field.
From Beginning - Select this option to include all the project managers from the beginning of the available project managers to a specific project manager in the range. You must enter the last value for the range in the End field. The Start field is disabled for this option.
To End - Select this option to include all the project managers from a specific project manager to the end of all the available project managers. You must enter the value from which the range should begin in the Start field. The End field is disabled for this option.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, a starting project manager for the range that you want to include on the report.
If you select "One," "Range," or "To End," in the Project Managers Option field, you must enter a project manager in this field.
If you select "All" or "From Beginning" in the Project Managers Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, an ending project manager for the range that you want to include on the report.
If you select "All," "Range," or "From Beginning" in the Project Managers Option field, you must enter a project number in this field.
If you select "One" or "To End" in the Project Managers Option field, this field will be inactive.
Accounting Period
This non-editable field displays the "One" option. This is because you can only run this report for one accounting period at a time.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, a valid fiscal year.
Period *
Enter, or use Lookup to select, a valid period.
Subpd *
Enter, or use Lookup to select, a valid subperiod.
This non-editable field displays the subperiod ending date of the subperiod entered in the Subpd field.
Use this group box to specify a number of secondary sorts and the order in which these sorts will organize information on the report. Available checkboxes are Performing Organization, Account, Labor Category, and Employee/Vendor Detail. Note that the Performing Organization, Account, and Labor Category checkboxes will be unavailable if you selected that same option in the Primary Grouping group box. After you have selected the checkboxes, enter the sort order in the Sort Order fields.
Select this checkbox to sort the report by performing organization.
Enter a numeric value in this field that will designate the order of sorting for the report.
The first sorting criteria is the data field selected in the Group By drop-down box. The second sort will be the data field in the Select group box that has a "1" in the Sort Order field.
Select this checkbox to produce a subtotal for each performing organization displayed on the report.
Select this checkbox to sort the report on the account number.
Enter a numeric value in this field that will designate the order of sorting for the report.
The first sorting criteria is the data field selected in the Group By drop-down box. The second sort will be the data field in the Select group box that has a "1" in the Sort Order field.
Select this checkbox to produce a subtotal for each account displayed on the report.
Select this checkbox to sort the report on the labor category.
Enter a numeric value in this field that will designate the order of sorting for the report.
The first sorting criteria is the data field selected in the Group By drop-down box. The second sort will be the data field in the Select group box that has a "1" in the Sort Order field.
Select this checkbox to produce a subtotal for each labor category displayed on the report.
Select this checkbox to sort the report on the employee/vendor detail.
Enter a numeric value in this field that will designate the order of sorting for the report.

Use the fields in this group box to select the project level, labor category type, and various printing options.
Use the fields in this group box to select the project level and printing options.
Identify the project level that you want to summarize. All project levels at and below this level will be rolled up to this level for the report.
Select this checkbox to include those projects that contain no activity.
Select this checkbox to include projects that have not been set to "Active" in the Basic Info screen in the Project User Flow (Projects\Maintain\Project).
This group box is available only if you selected the Labor Category checkbox in the Select group box. If you have selected "Labor Category" in the Group By field in the Primary Grouping group box, the report will automatically be grouped by PLC.
Select this radio button to print the report by Project Labor Category.
Select this radio button to print the report by General Labor Category.
