Use this screen to create and view a history of currencies that your company tracks by period. This combination of rate group, rate source, and currencies (both to and from) represents one line of the child table created on the Period Exchange Rates screen. You can edit these rates after saving them.
Use this screen to enter rates for currencies that you track only by period-end or period-average rates. We suggest that you use this kind of tracking only for currencies that are consistently stable.

When you use period (rather than daily) rates, this rate will default for those transactions with a rate date of the last day of the period.
This field displays the period-end rate change percentage. Costpoint calculates this by subtracting the prior period-end rate from the current period-end rate, then dividing the result by the prior period-end rate. You cannot edit this column.
The exchange rate that you entered may not be allowed, depending on the allowable limit you entered on the Exchange Rate Groups screen. If the fluctuation limit for this currency from/to combination is 5%, you cannot enter any rate that is a change (either positive or negative) of more than 5%.
However, if you edit any pre-existing rows of period rates, only the edited row will be re-evaluated for fluctuation limits.
Enter the exchange rate to be used for period average currency conversion.
