Section I Remit To

How do I use this subtask?

This subtask displays the remit to address that appears in line 2 of the form 1443. This address originates in the Remittance Addresses screen (Projects\Configure\Billing). This screen is then referenced in the Project Billing Information screen (Projects\Maintain\Billing). You can edit all of the address fields in this screen.

Field Descriptions

Invoice Project

This non-editable field displays the invoice project from the main screen.

Contracting Office

This group box displays the remittance address. The information associated with the remittance address code in the Project Billing Information screen (Projects\Maintain\Billing) will be the default for these fields. You can use Lookup in the Address field to select another valid remittance address. Lookup will draw information the Remittance Addresses table. You can edit any of the fields.

Address

Enter the address in this field.

Name

Enter the contact name in this field.

Line 1, Line 2, Line 3

Enter the street address in these lines.

City

Enter the city in this field. If you skip ahead to enter the Postal Code first, and that postal code has already been used in the system, the city information will automatically be brought into the screen for you. Once the information has been brought in, you can edit it.  However, any changes you make will not change the default information located in the Postal Code table.

St/Prov

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the state/province in this field. If you skip ahead to enter the Postal Code first, and that postal code has already been used in the system, the state/province information will automatically be brought into the screen for you. Once the information has been brought in, you can edit it.  However, any changes you make will not change the default information located in the Postal Code table.

Country

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the country code for this address. If you skip ahead to enter the Postal Code first, and that postal code has already been used in the system, the country information will automatically be brought into the screen for you. Once the information has been brought in, you can edit it. However, any changes you make will not change the default information located in the Postal Code table.

Postal Code

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the postal code for this address. Note that the postal code will bring in the city, state/province, and country code if they have not already been entered.  The first time you use a postal code, the system will store the city, state/province, and country code in its table.  From then on, if you enter the postal code first, it will bring in the other information. Once the information has been brought in, you can edit it.  However, any changes you make will not change the default information located in the Postal Code table in System Administration.
