Use this screen to maintain the various types of insurance held by vendors that are subcontractors.
Five types of subcontractor insurance already exist in Costpoint: "AUTO" (Automobile), "EXLIB" (Excess Liability), "GENLIB" (General Liability), "UMBR" (Umbrella), and "WORKCOMP" (Workers Compensation). You cannot edit or delete them.
To enter a new type of insurance, use the New Record icon on the toolbar.

Are all vendors required to carry insurance?
No, not all vendors are required to carry insurance.
If you have an insurance type other than the system-defined types, enter up to eight characters to define the policy type.
This column displays the system-defined insurance type IDs.
If you have an insurance type other than the system-defined types, enter up to 30 characters to define the policy type description; otherwise, this column displays the system-defined insurance description.

Changes in this screen update the SUBC_POLICY_TYPE table.
