COLOR

Use this subtask to change the default Costpoint background color. Select the Modify pushbutton in the main screen and/or in the Preferences subtask of the Maintain Users screen to open the Color subtask.

This subtask is a standard Windows color dialog that is similar to the one activated from the Color option in the Windows Control Panel. You can choose one of the basic colors or create a custom color.

Define Custom Colors

To define a custom color, click anywhere in this color matrix, then use the slider at the right of the dialog box to adjust the color's attributes.

If you define a color using the Hue/Sat/Lum or Red/Green/Blue scales, you can look at this matrix to make sure you defined the color as you intended.

OK

Select this pushbutton if you want the color you have selected to become the default Costpoint background color. The previous screen will reappear with the selected color as the new default.

Cancel

If you do not want to change the current background color setting, select this pushbutton.

Hint: Note the Color/Solid box on the screen. It will show the color currently selected. Make sure the color appears the same in the entire box. If the color on the left half (the "color" half) looks different from the color on the right half (the "solid" half), the new background color will not be identical on all Costpoint screens. On some screens, you will see a mixture of the two colors in the background.

Add to Custom Colors

Select the Add to Custom Colors pushbutton only to create a color that you intend to use as your new background color. Custom colors are not saved when you exit this screen. Any custom colors you create will not reappear when you later reenter this screen.
