Use this subtask to give or deny a group the right to execute particular functions within a module. If you select P in the Module Rights column in the main screen, the group has rights only to the functions selected in this subtask. If you select O in the Module Rights column in the main screen, the group has rights to all functions except those selected in this subtask.
This non-editable field displays the current group ID, followed by the current group name.
This non-editable field displays the name of the selected module.
This table displays the name and title of the Costpoint functions in the selected module that the group is not authorized to execute using partial rights, but is authorized to execute using optimistic rights. If the group is new, all the Costpoint functions for that module will display. As functions are selected, they are removed from this table and placed in the Authorized Functions for this Group table.
To select a function, either highlight it and then click the Select button or double-click on the function. To select more than one at a time, hold the mouse button down and move the pointer until more than one row is highlighted, then click the Select button.

This column is displayed only in the Authorized Functions for this Group table. This column indicates the group rights for this function, F (Full), R (Read-only), or N (No rights).
If the Module Rights for this group is set to P (Partial rights) on the main screen, this field defaults to F (Full rights). If the Module Rights for this group is set to O (Optimistic partial rights) on the main screen, this field defaults to N (No rights). In both cases, the default can be changed.
This non-editable field only displays if you also have Costpoint Web enabled and if the Enforce Segregation of Duties Rules check box is selected in the Corporate Settings subtask of the System Settings screen in the web version. One of the following status statements populates the field:
