Use this screen to disable or enable the use of certain types of Costpoint functions, or to disable or enable Costpoint logins.
In order to diagnose problems, the Costpoint system administrator may sometimes want to keep all regular Costpoint users from using Costpoint. Use this function to disable logins.
You can disable Costpoint usage from either Costpoint System Administration or the Stand-Alone System Administration Utility. If you disable logins from System Administration, you must stay logged into Costpoint in order to "re-enable" them from System Administration. If you log out of Costpoint without re-enabling logins, you must use the Stand-Alone System Administration Utility to re-enable them.
Use this function when you need to keep everyone out of Costpoint, or at least keep them out of some segments of the system.

They can specify report criteria, choose a printer option, save the report parameters, and submit the report to a server queue, but they cannot preview or print. If they select Preview or Print from the menu bar, they will receive a message explaining that reports have been disabled.
If a user has a report running when you are in the process of disabling reports, the user will be allowed to continue. After the report finishes, the user will be left in the report parameter screen, but will be unable to select Preview or Print again.

This setting prevents users from entering the Execute Process screen in Costpoint Process Management. However, users will be able to access any other screens in that module. Users can still submit a process to the queue either from the Submit Process to Queue screen in Costpoint Process Management or Submit to Queue option available under Options/Preferences on the Costpoint menu bar.
Anyone who is running a process from the Execute Process screen while you are disabling process execution will be allowed to continue. If the user did not select the Exit Costpoint on Completion checkbox in the Execute Process screen, he will be returned to the Process Management module menu after the process is finished, but will be unable to re-enter the Execute Process screen.
Enter the reason Process Manager execution is disabled. This reason will be displayed to users who try to run a process while process execution is disabled.
