Use this subtask to specify the type of maintenance and how it is scheduled for the work center.
Enter information in this subtask when creating the work center or whenever changes to maintenance schedules are necessary.
This non-editable field displays the ID work center for which maintenance information is being entered. The field to the right displays the work center name.
This non-editable field displays "Y" (Yes) if the work center is active, or "N" (No) if it is not.
This non-editable field displays the organization ID and name selected in the main screen.
This non-editable field displays the process type selected in the main screen.
This non-editable field displays the work center type selected in the main screen.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the type of maintenance that is to be performed at the work center. You can establish maintenance types in the Maintenance Types screen.
This field displays the maintenance class type that you selected in the Maintenance Types screen: "Repair," "Preventive," and "Calibration."
This field displays the description for the maintenance type.
Enter how often, in days, this maintenance should be performed on the work center. A default number is displayed if one was originally entered for this maintenance type in the Maintenance Types screen, but it can be changed.
Enter how often, in units, this maintenance should be performed on the work center. A default number is displayed if one was originally entered for this maintenance type in the Maintenance Types screen, but it can be changed.
Enter the number of hours required to perform this maintenance on the work center. A default number is displayed if one was originally entered for this maintenance type in the Maintenance Types screen, but it can be changed.
Enter the date on which the maintenance was last performed. The system will automatically calculate the next maintenance due date by adding the number of days in the Frequency (Days) field to the date in the Last Performed Date field.
Enter the number of units expended (i.e., operation hours) when the maintenance was last performed. The system will automatically calculate the frequency of maintenance, based on units, by adding Last Performed Units to the Frequency (Units).
Enter any free-form text notes about the work center maintenance. This field displays the notes you entered in the Maintenance Types screen; however, revisions are permitted.
Enter the date on which this maintenance type should be performed next on the work center. A date will already be displayed if Frequency (Days) and the Last Performed Date fields have been populated, and the Default Frequency Type in the Maintenance Types screen is "D." The system calculates the default by adding the number of days in the Frequency (Days) field to the date in the Last Performed Date field.
Enter the number of units that must be expended before this maintenance type is performed next on the work center. A number will already be displayed if the Frequency (Units) and the Last Performed Units fields have been populated, and the Default Frequency Type in the Maintenance Types screen is "U." The default is calculated by adding the Frequency (Units) and the Last Performed Units fields.
