Use this screen to access the audit trail that is maintained for the Employee Taxes screen in Costpoint Employee. This screen displays all payroll -related tax information set up in the Employee Taxes screen. In addition, the screen displays information specifying by whom and on what date modifications were made to the record.
Use this screen whenever you need to review changes made to the Employee Taxes table. Employee Taxes information must already exist; only modifications made when the Employee Taxes checkbox is selected in the Payroll Settings screen will be displayed.
Use this group box to select the parameters pertaining to the records you want to review. You can select records for review based on the types of transactions, the employee whose record was changed, the system user who made the modifications, and/or the date of any modifications. Once you have made your selections, use the Execute button on the toolbar to fill the table window with the records you selected.
Use the options in this group box to select which type of transactions to include when selecting records to be displayed in the retrieved records table.
Select this checkbox to include records that are "Add" transactions.
Select this checkbox to include records that are "Delete" transactions.
Select this checkbox to include records that are "Update" transactions.
Use this group box to select which employee's records to include in your review. You can also elect to review only the modifications made by a single system user.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ID for the employee whose records you want to include in the record selection process. This is an optional field; if this field is left blank, the system will include all employees in the search.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ID (Costpoint login ID) for the system user who is responsible for the modifications you want to include in the record selection process. This is an optional field; if this field is left blank, the system will include records regardless of who made the modifications.
Enter the date of the transaction modifications to include in the displayed output. This is an optional field; if this field is left blank, the system will include records regardless of when the modifications were made. The system format for date is "MM/DD/YYYY."
This non-editable field displays the type of modification for the transaction displayed. The field displays "A" for an "Add" transaction, "D" for a "Delete" transaction, or "U" for an "Update" transaction.
This non-editable field displays the employee ID for the employee whose record was modified.
This non-editable field displays the name that corresponds to the employee ID related to this transaction.
This non-editable field displays the user ID (Costpoint login ID) for the system user who made the modification(s) shown in this transaction.
This non-editable field displays the date on which the modifications took place for this transaction.
This non-editable field displays the four-character pay cycle code that is assigned to the employee referenced in this transaction.
This non-editable field indicates whether or not the employee referenced in this transaction is covered under a pension plan for W-2 reporting purposes. "Y" indicates the employee is covered, and "N" indicates the employee is not covered.
This non-editable field indicates whether or not the employee referenced in this transaction is subject to Social Security Payroll Tax. "Y" indicates the employee is subject, and "N" indicates the employee is not subject to Social Security tax.
This non-editable field displays whether the employee referenced in this transaction is exempt from Federal unemployment tax. "Y" indicates the employee is exempt and "N" indicates the employee is non-exempt.
This non-editable field displays whether the employee referenced in this transaction is subject to Medicare Payroll Tax. "Y" indicates the employee is subject and "N" indicates the employee is not subject to Medicare tax.
This non-editable field indicates whether the employee referenced in this transaction is a nonresident alien. "Y" indicates that the employee is a nonresident alien, and "N" indicates that the employee is not.
This non-editable field indicates whether the employee referenced in this transaction is prohibited from editing his W-4 information in Deltek Employee Self Service. "Y' indicates that the employee cannot edit his W-4 information, and "N" indicates that the employee can edit it.
This non-editable field displays the federal filing status, such as "Single" or "Married," elected by the employee referenced in this transaction.

If the WY Class Code is "C" (Corporate Officer), this field displays the selected Corporate Officer ID that applies to the employee. Valid options are: "P" (President), "V" (Vice President), "S" (Secretary), "T" (Treasurer), "O" (Other), and "N" (None).
This field displays the coverage type to which the employee is subject. If the employee is subject to both unemployment and workers' comp, this field will display "B" (Both). Valid options are: "U" (Unemployment Only), "W" (Workers Comp Only), "B" (Both), and "N" (None).
This field displays the geographic code of the employee's primary work site if the employee's SUTA State is "AK" (Alaska).
This field displays the plan code that applies to this employee's unemployment insurance and disability insurance coverage when the SUTA State is "CA" (California).
This field displays the Minnesota worksite number assigned to the employee in the Employee Taxes screen.
