PURGE AUDIT FILE DATA

Use this screen to purge data from the payroll audit trail tables. Data will be purged only by date. Purging of data results in permanent loss of that audit trail data.

Use this screen whenever you want to clear any or all of the payroll audit trail tables.

Multi-state tax functionality has been added to a number of applications to allow the proper calculation of withholdings for employees who work in multiple states in a single pay period. Since new tables have been created, this application now purges data from additional tables: EMPL_TAX_MULTI_ADT, EMPL_E_STATE_ADT, and EMPL_PR_STATE_ADT.

Date

Enter the ending date for records to be purged. All audit trail information for entries made to the selected table on or before this date will be purged from the table.

Select Audit File

Use this group box to select the particular audit trail table to purge. In the case of Payroll Edit Table and Employee Earnings, the system will purge all subtask tables as well. To include a particular table, select the corresponding radio button. You can purge only one table (with its subtasks) at a time.

This radio button is set as the default and will cause none of the Payroll Audit Trail Tables to be purged.

Basic Employee Info

Select this radio button to include Basic Employee Info audit trail information in the purge.

Salary Info and History

Select this radio button to include Salary Info and History audit trail information in the purge.

Payroll Taxes

Select this radio button to include Employee/Payroll Taxes audit trail information in the purge.

Employee Bank Info

Select this radio button to include Employee Bank Info audit trail information in the purge.

Payroll Deductions

Select this radio button to include Payroll Deductions audit trail information in the purge.

Payroll Contributions

Select this radio button to include Payroll Contributions audit trail information in the purge.

Payroll Edit Table

Select this radio button to include Payroll Edit Table audit trail information in the purge.

Employee Earnings

Select this radio button to include Employee Earnings audit trail information in the purge.

Employee Bond Info

Select this radio button to include Employee Bond information in the purge.

Press the button to purge selected audit files

Select this button on the toolbar to activate the purging process.
