Item

This field displays the item ID of the selected item. A description of the item displays in the field below.

Rev

This field displays the revision.

U/M

This field displays the unit of measure associated with the item.

Make/Buy

This field displays whether the item is "M" (Make) or "B" (Buy).

Type

This field displays the item type: part, good, or service.

Prod Class

This field displays the product class associated with this item.

Buyer

This field displays the buyer ID for this item.

Commodity

This field displays the commodity code associated with this item.

Active

This field displays the active status of this item, "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No).

Planner

This field displays the planner for this item.

Project

Project

This field displays the project ID to which the item is assigned.

Project Abbrev

This field displays the project abbreviation given to this project.

Active

This field displays "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No), depending on whether or not the project is active.

Project Name

This field displays the project name.

Starting Date

This field displays the starting date for this project.

Ending Date

This field displays the ending date for this project.

Substitute Part

This field displays the substitute part that can be exchanged for the specified item.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the substitute part.

Description

This field displays the description of the substitute part.

U/M

This field displays the unit of measure of the substitute part.

Make/Buy

This field displays "M" (Make) or "B" (Buy) code for this substitute part.

Safety Stock Quantity

This column displays the safety stock quantity. The system combines this amount with other requirements to generate reorder information for materials planning.

Reorder Pt Quantity

This column displays the quantity required to be in inventory for this part.

Order To Quantity

This column displays the target inventory quantity desired for this part. The system uses this quantity, in addition to the reorder point, to sustain an inventory level for this part for planning purposes.

Preferred Warehouse

This column displays the preferred warehouse where this part will be received.

Preferred Whse Location

This column displays the preferred warehouse location where this part will be received.

QC Insp Reqd

This column displays "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No) depending on whether or not QC acceptance/inspection is required for this part/project.

Source Insp Reqd

This column displays "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No) to indicate whether or not source inspection is required for this part/project. A government source inspection normally requires the vendor to obtain approval from a government inspector before the material can be shipped.

Cert Conf Reqd

This column displays "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No) to indicate whether or not the vendor must submit a certificate of conformance when this part is ordered for the specified project. A certificate of conformance is a legal document certifying that the materials conform to certain specifications and requirements. It is issued by the vendor.

Lot Reqd

This column displays "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No), depending on whether or not the system tracks lot numbers for this part when used with this project.

Serial Reqd

This column displays "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No) depending on whether or not the system tracks serial numbers for this part when used with this project.
