Use this subtask to distribute the requisition line charge to single or multiple project/account/organization combinations. This is a required subtask for most requisition lines.
This subtask is not required for a new requisition line if you entered an inventory abbreviation for that line, or if you entered project, account, and organization information in the default screen.
This information is loaded into every new PO line created from this requisition line. The system will use the allocation percentages to allocate the PO line dollar costs if they differ from the requisition line amounts.
You must use this subtask whenever you add a requisition line to the requisition and maintain it when you need to change that requisition line account allocation.
These non-editable fields default from the main screen.
This field displays the transaction currency assigned to the requisition.
This non-editable field defaults from the requisition line. It represents the requisitioned quantity times the Est Unit Cost for this line item.
This non-editable field defaults from Est Sales Tax/VAT Amt in the requisition line. It represents the applicable sales tax/value added tax against this item.
This non-editable field defaults from the requisition line. It represents the requisition line total amount that has not been allocated to an account in the table below.
This non-editable field defaults from Est Line Charges in the requisition line. It represents any additional miscellaneous charges against this line item.
This non-editable field defaults from Total Est Cost Amt in the requisition line. It represents the total charge for this line item, including additional charges and sales tax/VAT.
This non-editable field defaults from the requisition line.
This field displays the requisitioner's organizational code.
This column displays the project ID assigned in the Account Distribution subtask of the Enter Requisitions screen and can be changed. It is not a required field if the account does not require a project. To change this project ID, enter, or use Lookup to select, the project ID that receives charges for this line item. The system will validate that the project ID selected is active and linked to the account entered on this line. Establish projects in the Project Master menu in Costpoint Project Setup.
This column displays the account ID assigned in the Account Distribution subtask of the Enter Requisitions screen and can be changed. To change this account ID, enter, or use Lookup to select, the account ID receiving charges for this line item. The system will validate that the account ID selected is active and not a summary account and that the account allows charging for the fiscal year, period, and subperiod on this requisition. You must also set up this account for entry in Costpoint Purchasing. This is a required field. Establish accounts in the Accounts menu in Costpoint General Ledger.
This column displays the organization ID assigned in the Account Distribution subtask of the Enter Requisitions screen and can be changed. To change this organization ID, enter, or use Lookup to select, the organization ID receiving charges for this line item. The system will validate that the organization ID selected is active, and that the account/organization combination allows charging for the fiscal year, period, and subperiod on this requisition. This is a required field. Establish organization information in the Organizations menu of Costpoint General Ledger.
This column displays the name of the selected Account.
This column displays the name of the selected Organization.
This field displays the name of the selected Project.
Enter the percentage amount of this line item to be charged to the selected project/account/ organization. The default value for the first line is 100%. You can delete this default percentage and enter a dollar amount in the Amount field.
If a percentage is not entered in the Allocation field, you can specify the dollar amount of this line item to be charged to the selected project/account/organization.
This field displays the organization abbreviation if you selected an Organization.
This field displays the project abbreviation if you selected a Project.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, a project account abbreviation; if you selected a Proj Abbrev, the project account abbreviation will be displayed.
This column displays the reference number 1 value assigned in the Account Distribution subtask of the Enter Requisitions screen and can be changed. To do so, enter, or use Lookup to select, another value.
This column displays the reference number 2 value assigned in the Account Distribution subtask of the Enter Requisitions screen and can be changed. To do so, enter, or use Lookup to select, another value.
