Use this subtask to assign documents to the Request for Quote by Vendor header. These documents may be pre-established within the Product Definition module or added on the fly by request for quote. Use this subtask at any time to assign documents to the request for quote.
This non-editable field defaults from the main screen.
Check this box if this is document is a reference document attached to the request for quote (i.e., the document doesn’t exist as a record in the Maintain Documents screen). If this box is not checked you are required to input a valid document established in the Maintain Documents screen in the Product Definition module.
Enter, or use to select, the document to associate with this request for quote. If you have not selected the Reference Document checkbox, the document must already be established in the Maintain/Release Documents screens in Product Definition or Bills of Material modules.
Enter, or use to select, the revision of the document associated with this request for quote. If you have not selected the Reference Document checkbox, the document must already be established in the Maintain/Release Documents screens in Product Definition or Bills of Material modules. A revision is also not required if multiple revisions are not supported in the Corporate Product Definition Settings screen.
Enter, or use to select the document type to associate with this request for quote. If you have not selected the Reference Document checkbox, the document must already be established in the Maintain/Release Documents screens in Product Definition or Bills of Material modules.
For a reference document, enter the name of document being attached to this request for quote. If the document is already established in the Maintain/Release Documents screens in Product Definition or Bills of Material modules, the name defaults in.
For Reference documents, enter up to 254 alphanumeric characters to indicate where this document is stored on the network. You can also select the Browse button to access this document from within Costpoint. Make sure the entire directory path is loaded, including the full server, volume name, and file name.
Deltek recommends against using network drive letters unless all potential Costpoint users have this file location mapped to the same drive letter. If the document is already established in the Maintain/Release Documents screens in Product Definition or Bills of Material modules, the location defaults in.
When you have listed the file, click the Launch pushbutton to view the file.
If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition or Bills of Material (i.e., it is not a Reference Document), the status of the document displays here. The system-defined options are "Unreleased," "Released," or "Obsolete."
