Use this screen to create a new change order for an existing purchase order and save the previous version of the purchase order to a history file. Once the new change order number is created, you can enter the appropriate changes to the purchase order (for the new change order number) in the Enter POs screen, where the Change Order No will reflect the New Change Order Number from this screen.
When creating a change order, CIS information and withholding status will be copied from the PO line to the change order line, if applicable. For subcontract POs, all applicable amounts and percentage rates will be copied from the subcontract PO line to the change order line.
Use Find or Query to select the PO ID and release number from which to create a PO change order.
These fields default from the Enter POs screen and cannot be changed.
Use the fields in this group box to manually number the new change order and save the old purchase order information to a history file.
The next numerical number from the current change order will display in this field for this change order, but can be changed as long as the new change order number is higher than the current change order number. Once the new change order number is created, you can enter the appropriate changes to the purchase order (for the new change order number) in the Enter POs screen (where the Change Order No in the Enter POs screen will reflect the New Change Order Number). Each time you make a change to a subsequent change order in the Enter POs screen, the value in this field will increase by one.
The system date will display in this field but can be changed, if necessary.
Select this checkbox to save the existing change order to a history file. When this checkbox is selected, the current change order information will be saved to a history file. If you do not select this checkbox, the current change order will not be saved when the new change order is created.
