Use this screen to print or purge the history of processes that have been executed on the process server.
The Process History report prints information related to each process including Process, Process Description, Parameters ID, Parameters Description, Start Time, stopped time, and any messages from the function being executed. You can also purge the process history from the database using the criteria that you select. You should run the Purge function routinely to clear unwanted process histories.
You cannot print or purge the process history unless processes have been executed on the process server.
Retain this report to keep track of the process history. You can print this report as often as necessary.
Use this group box to select processes for the report or purge.
Use this drop-down box to select a range of processes. Range options include "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All." If you have a large number of processes, you may not want to use the default.
Enter the beginning process ID in this field or use Lookup to select one. If you select "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter the ending process ID in this field or use Lookup to select one. If you select "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Use this group box to select the users who have submitted a process to the process server.
Select the range of users from this drop-down box. Range options include "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All." If you have a large number of submitting users, you may note want to use the default.
Enter the beginning submitting user in this field or use Lookup to select one. If you select "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter the ending submitting user in this field or use Lookup to select one. If you select "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Use this group box to select the start dates for the report or purge.
Select the range of dates from this drop-down box. Range options include "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All." If you have stored the process history without periodically purging, you may not want to select "All" when printing the process history report.
Enter the beginning start date in this field. If you select "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter the ending start date in this field. If you select "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
You can use this group box to select the completion dates for the report or purge.
Select the range of dates from the drop-down box. Range options include "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All." If you have a large number of processes, you may want to change the default, or enter a number in the Select Days Prior to Completion field, or purge the process history.
Enter the beginning completion date in this field. If you select "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter the ending completion date in this field. If you select "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, this field will be inactive.
Enter a number of days prior to the current date. All processes that fall within that period will be printed or purged. If you select any range option other than "All" in the Select Completion Dates group box, this field will be inactive.
Select the Process button on the toolbar to delete the process history from the database using the selection criteria entered on the screen. A report will not be generated.
Select the Process/Print button on the toolbar to print and then delete the process history. A report will be generated.
