Allowed Functions

This optional select/ deselect subtask links process and report functions to a queue, allowing users to limit which functions can be submitted to a specific queue.  This also allows users to control access to queues so they can ensure that higher priority jobs do not have to wait for lower-priority jobs to be executed.

The Submit Process to Queue function will validate whether a process can be submitted to a specific queue, based upon whether the queue has any linked restrictions.  The Options/Submit to Queue menu option will also perform this validation.

If this subtask is not used for a given queue, any process/report function can be submitted to that queue.  

Queue

This field displays the name of the queue in the main screen.

Status

This field displays the status of the queue in the main screen.

Process/Report Functions Table Window

This subtask allows users to select one or more report/process functions to be eligible for execution within the queue.  This table window will be populated with all S_APPL_FUNC rows where the PROCESS_ENABLED_FL = Y.  Subquery is available for this table window.

Module

This field displays Module ID.

Module Name

This field displays the Module name.

Function

This field displays Function ID.

Function Name

This field displays the Function name.

Allowed Process/Report Functions for this Queue Table Window

For existing Queue records, this table window is initially populated with PROCESS_QUEUE_FUNC rows for the selected Process Queue ID.
