Use this toolkit to update the PROJ table with the modification amounts from the PROJ_MOD table. Specifically, in PROJ_MOD, the Value Cost and Value Fee fields, which are PROJ_V_CST_AMT and PROJ_V_FEE_AMT, respectively, update PROJ_V_CST_AMT, PROJ_V_FEE_AMT, and PROJ_V_TOT_AMT in PROJ. Also in PROJ_MOD, the Funding Cost and Funding Fee fields, which are PROJ_F_CST_AMT and PROJ_F_FEE_AMT, respectively, are summed to update PROJ_F_CST_AMT, PROJ_F_FEE_AMT, PROJ_F_TOT_AMT in PROJ.
Amounts in the PROJ_MOD table are summed from the bottom of the project tree and inserted into each level of the project. You will use this toolkit under three circumstances:
Whenever information has been uploaded into either the PROJ or PROJ_MOD table.
Whenever you have initiated a major change to the contract or funded values in the PROJ_MOD table.
Whenever you have made a change to the contract or funded value in the Modifications screen (Projects » Project Setup » Controls) and value information on some reports is incorrect.
Enter, or use the Lookup pushbutton to select, the project name. This field is not available unless you select the One option in the Project Range group box. The toolkit will update for the project and its lower levels. To update all projects, leave this field empty and select the All radio button in the Project Range group box.
Use this group box to select all projects or one project.
Select this option to update all projects.
Select this option to update one project.
Click this button to run Lookup. This button is available only if you have selected the One radio button.
Click this button to start the toolkit. Depending on the size of your database (that is, the number of projects and modifications), the toolkit could take considerable time to complete.
