Use this subtask to select the account/ organization combinations that will form the cost portion of a given cost pool. You can select any combination of any type of account/organization; however, Costpoint will enforce the following rules:
Once you have selected an account/organization combination as a cost account/organization combination for a given pool, you cannot select it as the base or allocation combination for the same pool within the same allocation group and fiscal year.
Once you have selected an account/organization combination as a cost account/organization combination for a given pool, you cannot select it as a cost account/organization combination for any other pool within the same allocation group and fiscal year.
Use this subtask as part of the initialization process for a cost pool or service center. After initializing cost accounts, you will need to use this screen only to make changes. You can set up and maintain the cost pools more easily by using the Create Pool Links screen (Projects » Cost and Revenue Processing » Cost Pool Setup). This process uses the Base Creation Setup (Projects » Cost and Revenue Processing » Cost Pool Setup) and Cost Creation Setup (Projects » Cost and Revenue Processing » Cost Pool Setup) screens to determine which group of accounts goes into the pools and bases.

This non-editable field displays the pool number from the main screen. The adjacent field displays the name of the pool.
This non-editable field displays the fiscal year from the main screen. You can modify the data (including cost account/organization combinations) for a given cost pool each fiscal year.
Click this table and click the Subquery button to populate it. You can combine multiple select statements by clicking the And/Or options, then clicking Add to update your subquery. To display the number of rows in your new result set, click the Count button. To update the Account/Organization table window, click OK. The Subquery function will close and return you to the populated Account/Organization table window.

To select an account/organization from the table, use this button after highlighting the account/organization that you want to add. The account/organization will display in the pool cost account/organization table located on the right half of the screen.
To remove an account/organization from the pool cost account/organization table, use this button while highlighting the account/org that you want to delete.
Use the Select and Deselect buttons to populate this table.
