Use this screen to link valid accounts and organizations to projects. If you have chosen not to validate account/orgs for projects (see the Project Settings screen), it is not necessary to link the account/orgs, as the project/account/org combinations are not validated during data entry.

If your company has more than 1,000 accounts or more than 1,000 organizations, you will not be able to use this screen (there is a limit of 1,000 rows for any table window). If this is the case, you should use one of the screens just listed.
Projects must be linked to accounts and organizations before you can use them in any transaction screen.
Use Find or Query to select a valid project. This is a required field. The unlabeled field to the right displays the description for the selected project.
This non-editable field displays the level number for the selected project.
This non-editable field displays the account group assigned to the selected project.
All accounts that exist in the project's account group will be displayed in the table window. The information displayed includes the selected account, name, and function code. Highlight the accounts you want to link with the selected project. To select more than one, use your mouse to highlight the rows. To select multiple rows that are not consecutive, press the Shift button on your keyboard while highlighting the additional rows.
This non-editable field displays the account code for the selected project.
This non-editable field displays the name of the account for the selected project.
This non-editable field displays the system-designated function codes that can be selected for the project accounts
When you initialize the screen, all organizations and names are loaded into the table window in this group box. If your company has more than 1000 organizations, only the first 1000 organizations are loaded.
Highlight the organizations you want to link with the selected project and account(s). To select more than one, use the mouse to highlight rows. To select multiple rows that are not consecutive, press the Shift button on the keyboard while highlighting the additional rows.
This non-editable field displays the organization code for the selected project.
This non-editable field displays the name of the organization for the selected project.
After you have highlighted the accounts and organizations to be linked to the selected project, click this button to link those account(s) and organization(s) to the selected project. During this process, your computer will be unavailable for other tasks.
Click this button to remove any highlighted rows from the Selected Account/Organizations table window.
This table window displays the linkages created when you click the Select button in the most recent process.
The linked account and organization codes display in these fields. If a combination was set up in error, you can highlight that row and click the Deselect button to remove it.
The active status for each row is set to Y, unless either the organization or the account is currently inactive.
If you are using reference numbers for data entry, you can use this field to attach valid reference 1 numbers to the account/organization combinations in the table for this project.
If you are using reference numbers for data entry, you can use this field to attach valid reference 2 numbers to the account/organization combinations in the table for this project.
The name for the selected account is displayed.
The name for the selected organization is displayed.
