PRINT SUBSTITUTE PART REPORT

Use this screen to print valid part substitutes. You can print this report by project or non-project parts. Print this report whenever you need a list of part substitutes.

This report is not part of the system audit trail and does not need to be retained. However, you may find it useful to keep a set of these reports once they are printed.

Sort

Select the appropriate radio button.

Part

Select this radio button to print the report by part/revision.

Substitute Part

Select this radio button to print the report by substitute part/revision.

Report Option

Non-Project

Select this radio button to print this report by non-project part substitutes.

Project

Select this radio button to print project part substitutes.

Select

Part (Part Substitute)/Rev

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to choose the range of part(s)/revision(s) you want to print. The available selections are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All."

From/To

Enter the part ID/revision or substitute part ID/revision that will be the starting and/or ending points for the range you selected. If you select "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, the From field will not be available. If you select "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, the To field will not be available.

Project

This group box is not available unless you selected the Project radio button in the Report Option group box.

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select the range of projects you want to print. The available selections are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All."

From/To

Enter the project(s) that will be the starting and/or ending points for the range you selected. If you selected "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, the From field will not be available. If you select "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, the To field will not be available.

The information on this report is taken from the Substitute Parts and Part Project Data tables.

Table Information

The information that is entered in this screen and saved as a parameter is stored in the FUNC_PARM_CATLG table. Information is also stored in and/or pulled from the following tables: ITEM, VPD_PRJSUB_PART, VPD_SUB_PART.
