PRINT ITEM TEXT REPORT

Use this screen to print text that is associated with specific items. You can print comments and/or standard text for specified items.

You can print this report for all items or for a selected range of parts, services, or goods. You can print active or inactive items, active or inactive text, and include comments, standard text, or both.

Print this report whenever you need item text information. Since item text can be updated continuously, you may need to print this report often.

This report is not part of the system audit trail and does not need to be retained. However, you may find it useful to keep a set of these reports once they are printed.

Parts

Select this checkbox to print data on parts.

Services

Select this checkbox to print data on services.

Goods

Select this checkbox to print data on goods.

Item/Rev

Range Option

Use this drop-down box to select the range of items/revisions to be printed. The selections are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All."

From/To

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the starting and/or ending items/revisions to be printed. If you selected "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, the From field will not be available. If you select "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, the To field will not be available.

Item Active Status

Use this group box to select active or inactive items to include in the report. You can select both checkboxes.

Active

Select this checkbox to print items that have an active status.

Inactive

Select this checkbox to print items that have an inactive status.

Text Active Status

Use this group box to select active or inactive text to include in the report. You can select both checkboxes.

Active

Select this checkbox to print text that has an active status.

Inactive

Select this checkbox to print text that has an inactive status.

Include

Comments

Select this checkbox to include comments on this report.

Standard Text

Select this checkbox to include standard text on this report.

Report Sources

The information reported can be found in the following tables, depending upon your selection criteria: Comments subtask in the Basic Part Data, Goods, Services, and Assign Standard Text screens.

Table Information

The information that is entered in this screen and saved as a parameter is stored in the FUNC_PARM_CATLG table. Information is also stored in and/or pulled from the following tables: ITEM, VPD_ITEM_TEXT.
