Use this screen to print an alphanumeric listing of items sorted by item description, rather than item ID. Characteristics assigned to parts, services, or goods will be printed. You can sort parts information by part status type.
You can print this report for all or for a selected range of parts, services, or goods. If reporting on parts, you can also print released and/or pre-released parts.
Print this report whenever a list of items sorted by item description is needed.
The Item Catalog report is not part of the system audit trail and does not need to be retained. However, you may find it useful to keep a set of these reports once they are printed.
Use this drop-down box to select the range of items to be printed. The available selections are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End." The default for this field is "All."
Enter the item description(s) that will be the starting and/or ending points for the range you selected. You can enter a partial item description for ranges; however, the system will print starting with the next item unless you enter an exact description. If you selected "All" or "From Beginning" in the Range Option field, the From field will not be available. If you select "All," "One," or "To End" in the Range Option field, the To field will not be available.
Select the item type desired for this report. You can print only one type at a time.
Select this radio button to print data for parts.
Select this radio button to print data for services.
Select this radio button to print data for goods.
The following selections are available only if you selected the Parts radio button in the Item Type group box.
Use this group box to select the status of the parts you want printed. If both checkboxes are blank, no information will be printed. You can assign status type in the Basic Part Data screen.
Select this checkbox to print data on parts with a "pre-released" status.
Select this checkbox to print data on parts with a "released" status.
Use this group box to report on make or buy parts. Select both checkboxes to print all parts in the range you selected in the Select Item Description group box. If both checkboxes are blank, no information will be printed.
Select this checkbox to print only make parts.
Select this checkbox to print only buy parts.
The information on this report is taken from one or more of the following tables, depending on the selection criteria: Basic Part Data, Services, or Goods.
The information that is entered in this screen and saved as a parameter is stored in the FUNC_PARM_CATLG table. Information is also stored in and/or pulled from the following tables: ITEM, VPD_ITEM_GDSERV, VPD_ITEM_LISTING.
