EBOM ASSEMBLIES WHERE-USED

This non-editable subtask displays the EBOM assemblies for the provisional part (in the main screen table window) where it exists as a component.  Information is displayed for the single EBOM level (in which the provisional part exists), all configurations and effectivity dates. EBOM Components are assigned to parts in the Maintain EBOM and Release EBOM screens in Costpoint Bills of Material.

Provisional Part

Prov Part, Rev, Prov Part Type, Make/Buy, Part Type, Commodity, Industry Class

These fields display information about the selected provisional part in the main screen table window.

EBOM Assemblies

This table window displays the assembly part information (as its own EBOM) for which the provisional part is assigned (as a component) in the Maintain EBOM screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.

Assembly Part, Assy Rev, Assembly Description

These columns display the assembly part ID, revision (if applicable), and description from the Maintain EBOM screen.

Assembly Part Provisional, Assembly Provisional Part Type

If the EBOM assembly is a provisional part, the Assembly Part Provisional column will display "Y" (Yes), and the Assembly Provisional Part Type column will display the provisional part type code assigned in the Maintain Provisional Parts screen. Provisional part type codes are established in the Provisional Part Types screen. If the EBOM assembly is a standard part, the Assembly Part Provisional column will display "N" (No), and the Assembly Provisional Part Type will be blank.

Assy Rel Status

This column displays the EBOM assembly's status (from the EBOM Status field in the Maintain EBOM or Release EBOM screens in Costpoint Bills of Material) as either "Released" or "Unreleased."

Line No

This column displays the line number for the component part as it appears in the EBOM.

Find No

This column displays the find number for the component part as it appears in the EBOM.

Comp Type

This column displays the component type code for the component part in the EBOM: "B" (Buy w/Comp), "S" (Standard), "P" (Phantom), "R" (Reference), "T" (Tool), or "D" (Deleted).

Qty Type

This column displays the quantity type code that specifies how component requirements are calculated in the EBOM: "A" (Per Assembly), "O" (Per Order), or "R" (As Required).

Quantity

This column displays the required component part quantity for the EBOM.

Comp U/M

This column displays the inventory unit of measure for the component part in the EBOM.

Comp Make/Buy

This column displays "M" if the component is a "Make" part or "B" if it is a "Buy" part.

Comp Release

This column displays "Y" (Yes) if the component part has been released in this EBOM or "N" (No) if it is unreleased. This field is always "N" if the component is a provisional part.

Configuration, Configuration Description

These columns display the configuration ID and configuration description for this component part in the EBOM. Configuration IDs are established in the Configuration Identifiers screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.  If a configuration ID has not been assigned to this component part in the EBOM, these columns will be blank.

Effective Starting Date

This column displays the date on which this component part becomes effective in this EBOM.

Effective Ending Date

This column displays the date on which this component part will cease to be effective in this EBOM.
