Use this screen to enter cost information for individual items associated with a project. Use this screen after initializing items and whenever you need to make additions or changes to project item cost.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the item to which you want to assign costs. The description for this item is also displayed in the untitled field to the far right.
If you selected the Allow Multiple Revisions For Each Item checkbox in the Product Definition Corporate Settings subtask of the Product Definition Settings screen, and the item selected has a revision, that revision is displayed here.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the project ID to which to assign costs for this item.
The unit of measure that has been assigned to this item in the Basic Part Data screen is displayed here.
The make/buy status assigned to this item in the Planning Part Data or Basic Part Data screens is displayed as "M" (Make) or "B" (Buy).
The item type is displayed identifying this item as a part, good, or service.
The following total cost calculations are displayed in these non-editable fields.
The system calculates total standard cost based upon the cost elements entered for cost type "S" (Standard).
The system calculates total reference cost based upon the cost elements entered for cost type "R" (Reference).
The system updates the last cost automatically when the most recent receipt transaction has been processed.
Enter "S" (Standard) or "R" (Reference) for the cost type for this item. You can make changes to reference cost for an item at any time, but you can make changes to standard cost only if the standard cost method is not in use, or if the standard cost method is in use but no inventory quantities exist for this item.
Enter the cost per unit amount of material for this item. You can enter up to 10 digits before plus four digits after the decimal for this amount.
Enter the cost per unit amount of material burden for this item. Material burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses on material costs. You can enter up to 10 digits before plus four digits after the decimal for this amount.
Enter the cost per unit amount of labor for this item. You can enter up to 10 digits before plus four digits after the decimal for this amount.

This field displays the current level total cost of the current part.
The ITEM_PROJ_CST table stores information for this screen. Information for maintaining project item cost is also stored in and/or pulled from the following tables: INVT, INVT_ABBRV_CD, ITEM, PART, PROJ, S_ITEM_CST_TYPE, VPD_ITEMPROJ_COST.
