Use this subtask to assign an industry classification and Uniform Product Code (UPC) to the part. Use it when you are initializing a part and a SIC and/or UPC code is required.
These default fields display the part ID, revision, and description from the main screen. These fields cannot be changed.
Enter, or use lookup to select, an industry classification code along with its description for the part. Industry classification codes are set up in the Industry Classifications screen.
Enter a Uniform Product Code (UPC) for the part.
