Use this subtask to enable serial/lot tracking capabilities in Costpoint Sales Order Entry.

In this group box, you can enable the serial/lot tracking capabilities in Costpoint Sales Order Entry and assign lot/serial numbers, if they are assigned by part number. If you select the Serial checkbox and Inventory Lot Tracking is required for the part (per the settings in the Serial/Lot Settings screen in Costpoint Inventory or Costpoint Sales Order Entry) and inventory serial numbers are not required, you must also track inventory serial numbers for this part in the Serial/Lot Settings screen. The Last Lot Number and Last Serial Number fields will be enabled at all times.

Use this subtask to specify the documents that are related to the part.
This field displays the part from the main screen.
This field displays the revision of the part. A description of the part/revision is displayed in the untitled field below this line.
This field displays the unit of measure of the part.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the document to which this part will be linked. Documents are set up in the Maintain Documents screen in both Costpoint Product Definition and Bills of Material.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the revision of the document to which this part will be linked.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the document type associated with this document.
This field displays the name of the document.
This field displays the location of the document, as defined in the Location subtask of the Maintain Documents screen. The Maintain Documents screen can also be accessed in the Documents menu in Costpoint Bills of Material. When you enter a document Type code in the Maintain Documents screen, the default location for that Type code (i.e., where the document is stored) is loaded into the Location column. If you change the location of the document (e.g., move it to your hard drive), update this field in the Maintain Documents screen. You cannot edit this field in this screen.
This field displays the release status of the document.
Enter the date the document will become effective for the part.
Enter the date the document will stop being effective for the part.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the configuration of the part for which the document is to be used. This field appears only if the Use Configuration IDs checkbox is selected in the BOM Corporate Settings subtask of the BOM Settings screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.
Enter "Y" (Yes) if this document is to be referenced on purchase orders, requisitions, and request for quotes, for this part. Otherwise, enter "N" (No).
Enter "Y" (Yes) if this document is to be referenced on receipt travelers for this part. Otherwise, enter "N" (No).
Enter "Y" (Yes) if this document is to be referenced on manufacturing order assembly sheets for this part. Otherwise, enter "N" (No).
Enter "Y" (Yes) if this document is to be referenced on routing travelers for this part. Otherwise, enter "N" (No).
This field displays the last engineering change notice ID for this part. Engineering change notice information can be accessed in Costpoint Engineering Change Notices.
Select this pushbutton to access the document selected in the Location column.
