Use this subtask to add or view serial/lot information about the items built on this MO. If the build-to part is serial/lot tracked in any of its build-to part/projects in the Allocations subtask, you can use this screen to pre-record serial/lot numbers for the parts when they are finished. This is an optional screen, even if serial/lot tracking is required. You cannot access this screen if serial/lot tracking is not required. Serial/lot tracking is determined in the Part Project Data screen or the Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
The manufacturing order ID is displayed in this field.
The type of the manufacturing order is displayed in this field.
The current status of the manufacturing order is displayed in this field.
This field displays the part ID that is being built on the MO. A description of the part displays in the untitled field below this field.
This field displays the revision level of the part.
This field displays the build quantity for the MO from the main screen.
This field displays the unit of measure of the part.
This field displays "Y" (Yes) if serial number tracking is required in inventory for the build part, as defined by the Serial Reqd field in the Part Project Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition. If the Part Project Data screen has no lines for the part/revision and build-to project, this field will display the serial tracking requirement as defined in the Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
This field displays "Y" (Yes) if lot tracking is required in inventory for the build part, as defined by the Lot Reqd field in the Part Project Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition. If the Part Project Data screen has no lines for the part/revision and build-to project, this field will display the serial tracking requirement as defined in the Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
This field displays the part's shelf life in calendar days, as defined in the Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition.

Enter the internal serial number for the added part. This field will not display if serial tracking is not required. Serial tracking is determined in the Part Project Data screen or the Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
Enter the internal lot number for the added parts. This field will not display if lot tracking is not required. Lot tracking is determined in the Part Project Data screen or the Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
Enter the quantity of the added part assigned to this lot number. This field defaults to "1," which cannot be edited, if serial tracking is required. Serial tracking is determined in the Part Project Data screen or the Basic Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition.
Enter the shelf life expiration date for this lot/serial.
Enter any notes applicable to this serial/lot number.
These are user-defined fields, the titles of which are defined in the Serial/Lot User Defined Labels screen in Costpoint Inventory. Enter additional information required for these fields. These fields are not displayed if they have not been defined in the Serial/Lot User Defined Labels screen.
Use this pushbutton to auto-assign serial/lot numbers for make parts based on your selections in the Serial/Lot Settings screen in Costpoint Inventory. This pushbutton is not accessible if auto-assigning is not turned on for serial or lot, or if serial/lot rows already exist, or if completed quantity is greater than zero, or if you selected "Customer Repair" or "Rework" as the MO type in the main screen.
