Use this subtask to assign documents to the Manufacturing Order.  

Manufacturing Order

This field displays the MO (manufacturing order) number from the main screen.

Table Window

Reference Doc

Select this checkbox if this document is a reference document attached to the manufacturing order.

Document

Enter, or use to select, the document to associate with this manufacturing order. The document must already be established in the Maintain Documents screen in Costpoint Product Definition.

Revision

Enter, or use to select, the document revision to associate with this manufacturing order. The document revision must already be established in the Maintain Documents screen in Costpoint Product Definition.

Type

Enter, or use to select, the document type to associate with this manufacturing order. The document type may already be established in the  Document Types screen in Costpoint Product Definition or it may be user input.

Name

Enter the name of the document to be attached to this manufacturing order. If the document is already established in Product Definition, the name defaults in.

Location

Enter up to 254 alphanumeric characters to indicate where copies of this document are stored. You can also select the Browse button to access this document from within Costpoint. Make sure the entire directory path is loaded, including the full server, volume name, and file name. We recommend that network drive letters not be used unless all potential Costpoint users have this file location mapped to the same drive letter.

When you have listed the file, select the Launch button to view the file.

Status

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, the status of the document displays here.  The valid system-defined selections are "U-Unreleased," "R-Released," or "O-Obsolete."

Size

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, the document size displays here

Media

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, the document media code displays here.  

CAGE

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, the document CAGE (Contractor and Government Entity) code displays here.  

Sheets

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, the number of sheets for the document displays here

Organization

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, the document assigned organization displays here.  

Maintenance Group

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, the maintenance group displays here.  

Print on MO Assy Sheet

Enter Y if this MO document should be referenced on MO Assembly Sheets.

Print on MO Routing Traveler

Enter Y if this MO Document should be referenced on MO Routing Travelers.

ECN Pending

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, and a Pending Engineering Change Notice is assigned to this document, it displays here.  

Last ECN

If the document is a pre-established document in Product Definition, the last Engineering Change Notice associated with this document displays here.  You can access engineering change notice information in Costpoint Engineering Change Notices.

Browse

Click this button to look up a document through its location.

Launch

Click this button to access the document indicated in the selected line item. Make sure the entire directory path is loaded, including full server and volume name and file name in the Location column. We recommend that network drive letters not be used in the Location field unless all potential Costpoint users have this file location mapped to the same drive letter.
