Use this screen to review sales order information and associated order costs, sales, and calculated profit/loss margins. Detailed sales order line information, including invoices, labor, and subcontract costs, is displayed along with issues, shipping, and accounts receivable information.
You can limit the inquiry to sales orders for a particular project, catalog, or customer. You can refine the inquiry by selecting a sales order status code or combination of status codes. After you have chosen your order criteria and selected the Execute button on the toolbar, all sales orders in the system that match the criteria are displayed.
The revenue or sales numbers displayed in the inquiry screen are based on invoiced sales order items. The Sales Order Analysis subtask displays the sales analysis for the order as a whole using cumulative line data. Use the Sales History subtask to view the sales analysis for individual lines on the order.
All amounts will be in the functional and transaction currencies. However, if you are not using Costpoint Multicurrency, all columns relating to transactional currency will be hidden.
Use the Sales Analysis Inquiry screen whenever you need to review or revise the status of a sales order.

Leave the Trans Currency field blank before selecting Execute to include all sales orders in the system that match the selected status codes.

You can refine your inquiry by selecting a sales order status code or combination of status codes from the Select SO Status group box. Leave the Customer field blank before selecting Execute to include all sales orders in the system that match the selected status codes.

This field displays the release number associated with the sales order ID.
Use the options in this group box to retrieve a sales order or group of sales orders: Pending, In Approval, Approved, Rejected, Closed, Void, and Sys Closed. You can use these status codes in conjunction with a value entered in the Project, Catalog, Customer, or Sales Order fields, or you can base your inquiry solely on one or more status codes. After selecting the status code(s) checkboxes on which to base your inquiry, select the Execute button on the toolbar to display the related sales orders.

This field displays the sales order ID.
This field displays the release number associated with the sales order ID.
This field displays the sales order status.
This field displays the approval process for the sales order if approvals are required; otherwise, this field is blank.
This field displays the only available type code, "S" (Sales order). Other codes will display when options such as change orders, blanket orders, and release orders are added in a future version of Costpoint.
These fields display the customer ID and customer's name from the sales order.
This field displays the price project ID, if selected on the sales order.
This field displays the price catalog ID, if selected on the sales order.
These fields display the sales representative's ID, if selected on the sales order, and the representative's name.
This field displays the date on which the sales order was created.
This field displays the sales order's total dollar amount, including line charges and taxes.
This field displays the transactional currency of the sales order line item.
This field displays the total amount of the sales order line item listed in transactional currency.
