Use this screen to establish and maintain standard text. You can specify associated codes during sales order entry and print them on the sales order reports and forms, such as sales acknowledgments, packing slips, and invoices.
When you specify standard text codes during sales order entry, a one-line description of the code appears on the screen so that you can verify that the correct code was entered. You can identify standard text codes for individual line items or apply them to an entire sales order. When a text code is applied to an entire order, you can print the text at the beginning or end of any of the sales order forms.
You can associate text entered in this table with items, projects, and/or project/part combinations; you can also use it in other Costpoint modules, such as Costpoint Procurement Planning and Costpoint Purchasing.
Set up this screen when initializing Costpoint Sales Order Entry and maintain it when new text or changes to existing text are required. You must enter text in this screen before you can use the codes on sales orders.
