Use this screen to modify existing serial/lot information and correct any discrepancies that may occur between the serial/lot inventory tables and the standard inventory location tables. It is not intended to be used as a standard data entry screen for loading serial/lot information.
Run this process when serial/lot discrepancies need to be rectified.
Enter a part number for which serial/lot modification is required.
Enter a revision number of the part for which serial/lot modification is required.
This field displays the unit of measure for the part/revision entered.
This group box displays the tracking requirement for the part as in the part master.
This field displays either "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No), depending on whether or not lot tracking is required.
This field displays either "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No), depending on whether or not serial tracking is required.
This field displays up to 20 alphanumeric characters for the internal serial number for the part.
This field displays up to 20 alphanumeric characters for the internal lot number for the part.
This field displays "P" if the serial/lot originated from a PO, and "M" if it originated from a Manufacturing order.
This field displays the number of the PO or MO from which the serial/lot originated.
This field displays the release number of the PO from which the serial/lot originated.
This field displays the line number of the PO from which the serial/lot originated.
This field displays the type of transaction from which the serial/lot originated.
This field displays the warehouse from which the serial/lot originated.
This field displays the ID of the transaction from which the serial/lot originated.
This field displays the line number of the transaction from which the serial/lot originated.
This field displays the date on which the serial/lot was created.
This field displays the total quantity of the part/lot combination.
This field displays the date on which the vendor's warranty will expire for the serial/lot.
This field displays the shelf life expiration date for the serial/lot.
This field displays the ID of the manufacturer who created the serial/lot. This field can be up to 10 alphanumeric characters.
When you enter an ID in the Manufacturer field, this field automatically displays the manufacturer name.
This field displays the manufacturer part number for the serial/lot. This value defaults if the Original Order is entered and it contains the manufacturer part number. This field can be up to 30 alphanumeric characters.
This field displays the manufacturer revision number for this serial/lot. This is automatically displayed if you make an entry in the Manufacturer Part field. This field can be up to three alphanumeric characters.
This field displays the identification number of the vendor who supplied the serial/lot. This field can be up to 12 alphanumeric characters.
When you enter an ID in the Vendor field, this field automatically displays the vendor name.
This field displays the vendor part number for the serial/lot. This field can be up to 30 alphanumeric characters.
This field displays the vendor revision number for the serial/lot. This is automatically displayed if you use Lookup to select the Vendor Part. This field can be up to three alphanumeric characters.
This field displays the manufacturer/vendor serial number for the part. This field can be up to 20 alphanumeric characters.
This field displays the manufacturer/vendor lot number for the part. This field can be up to 20 alphanumeric characters.
This field displays any free-form text associated with this serial/number.
This field displays the valid configuration ID for the item. You must have already established the configuration in the Configuration Identifiers screen in Costpoint Bills of Material.
This field displays a valid routing number for the item, if routing is required when building this serial/lot.
This field displays the bill of material "as-of" used date when building this serial/lot.
This field displays the status of the vendor's warranty.
This field displays the date on which the vendor's warranty will expire for the serial/lot.
This field displays the warranty code assigned to the customer.
This field displays the effective start date of the customer's warranty for the serial/lot.
This field displays the effective expiration date of the customer's warranty for the serial/lot.
This field displays the sales order tag number for this serialized item.
This field displays "Y" (Yes) or "N" (No) depending on whether the customer has purchased maintenance for this item.
This field displays the sales order number for the maintenance provided to the customer.
