Use this screen to set up sales representatives and associate them with employees, territories, and phone numbers. You must link sales representatives to at least one employee. Sales orders grouped by sales representatives can be useful when creating ad hoc reports and commission calculations.
Initialize this screen when you set up Costpoint Sales Order Entry. If you plan to use the screen during the sales order process, establish sales representatives before entering orders.
Enter an identification code of up to 12 alphanumeric characters for the sales representative. This field is required.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, an employee ID. This field is required. This ID must already exist as active in the Basic Employee Info screen in Costpoint Employee. You can assign an employee to more than one sales representative code; however, a sales representative code can be associated with only one employee. After you have entered a valid employee ID, the employee name will display in the adjacent field.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, a territory for the sales representative. Establish sales territories in the Sales Territories screen in Costpoint Accounts Receivable.
Enter the primary phone number for this sales representative.
Enter the fax number for this sales representative.
