Use this screen to define field labels for use with the serial/lot tracking portion of Costpoint Inventory and Costpoint Sales Order Entry. These labels become column headings for lines in serial/lot assignment/disposition screens for Inventory and Sales Order Issue transactions. You can use them to add reference notes to serial/lot lines.
Set up this screen before processing inventory transactions requiring serial/lot tracking, if reference fields are to be filled in. However, you can add or modify labels at any time. Any transactions after a modification will have the new column heading in serial/lot assignment or disposition screens.
Use the fields in this group box to define five labels. Any user-defined fields without labels will not be displayed in the Serial/Lot screens.
Enter the label to be assigned to the first serial/lot user-defined field. It can be up to 15 alphanumeric characters.
Enter the label to be assigned to the second serial/lot user-defined field. It can be up to 15 alphanumeric characters.
Enter the label to be assigned to the third serial/lot user-defined field. It can be up to 15 alphanumeric characters.
Enter the label to be assigned to the fourth serial/lot user-defined field. It can be up to 15 alphanumeric characters.
Enter the label to be assigned to the fifth serial/lot user-defined field. It can be up to 15 alphanumeric characters.
