DEFAULT ACCOUNTS

Use this subtask when entering or posting system-provided transaction types. Data in this subtask originates in the A/R Settings screen in Costpoint Accounts Receivable.

Customer Account

This field displays the customer account and description from the main screen.

Transaction Type

Use Lookup to select a transaction type. Transaction types originate in the A/R settings screen in Costpoint Accounts Receivable and cannot be changed. They are used to automatically post transactions for cash receipts and customer sales. Valid transaction types include "Cash Receipts," "Cash Account," "Discounts Taken Account," "Default Finance Charge Account," "Default Shipping/Handling Account," "Default Inventory/Clearing Account," "Default Receivables Account," and "Default Sales Account."

Account

Enter, or use Lookup to select, a valid account to use for the Transaction Type on this row.

Organization

Enter, or use Lookup to select, a valid organization to use for the Transaction Type on this row.

Project

Enter, or use Lookup to select, a valid project to use for the Transaction Type on this row.

Ref 1

Enter, or use Lookup to select, a valid reference number to use for the Transaction Type on this row. You can set up this field name in the G/L Settings screen in Costpoint General Ledger.

Ref 2

Enter, or use Lookup to select, a valid reference number to use for the Transaction Type on this row. You can set up this field name in the G/L Settings screen in Costpoint General Ledger.
