Resource Types

Use this screen to establish and maintain resource types, which are categories for key resources. Resource types are used to sort and/or select groups of similar key resources in applications such as the Rough-Cut Capacity Plan Inquiry, Generate Rough-Cut Capacity Plan, and Calculate Planning Routings.

Resource Types can be used by any company.

This application is also available in the Routings module.

Code

Enter a code for each resource type, using up to six characters. For example, you might enter "ARCH" for "Architect," or "MACH" for "Machinery."

Enter descriptive text for each resource type.
