Use this subtask to view details about the MRP-generated planned order demand created by dependent demand for the part selected on the main screen. For example, if a part is used as a component in an assembly, a demand for the assembly generates a MRP planned order supply for the assembly, which in turn generates a MRP planned order demand for the component part (dependent upon the assembly planned order supply created by MRP).
Access this subtask whenever you need details about the planned order demand highlighted on the main screen table.
This field displays the part ID as shown in the main screen. A description of the part is displayed in the unlabeled field below this field.
This field displays the revision of the part.
This field displays the inventory unit of measure for the part.
This field displays the total lead time, in days, for the part (from the Planning Part Data screen in Costpoint Product Definition).
This field displays "M" (Make) or "B" (Buy) depending on whether the part is manufactured or purchased.
This field displays "Y" (Yes) if the row is a gross requirement row and the part is a phantom component. The system does not generate planned orders for phantom BOM requirements. Otherwise, this field displays "N" (No).
This field displays the assembly to which the part/revision belongs for this demand.
This field displays the inventory abbreviation associated with the requirement for the part. The name of the inventory abbreviation is displayed in the adjacent unlabeled field.
This field displays the Defense Priority Acquisition System (DPAS) priority code for the project associated with the inventory abbreviation.
This field displays the ID of the project associated with the inventory abbreviation. The project name and its abbreviation are displayed in the adjacent unlabeled fields.
This field displays the date on which the part is needed.
This field displays the quantity of the part that is required.
This field displays either "MRP" or "MPS" to indicate whether the requirement was generated from an MRP-planned order demand or an MPS-planned order demand.
This field displays "M" (Make) or "B" (Buy) depending on whether the requirement is generated as a manufactured or purchased item.
This field displays the planner ID of the person responsible for the requirement.
This field displays the warehouse where the requirement is planned.
