MANUFACTURING ORDER

Note:  When you select the Msg Detail pushbutton on the main screen, one of a number of different subtasks will display depending on the Supply Type of the selected line on the main screen.

Use this subtask to view details of manufacturing orders for the selected row in the main screen.

Use this subtask whenever you need further details about the manufacturing order referenced in the action message on the main screen. You can maintain information in this screen if you selected the Allow MO Maintenance checkbox in the MRP Settings screen.

Message

This field displays the action message suggested for the requisition, either "Cancel Order," "Reschedule Order," or "Decrease Qty."

Part

This field displays the part ID as shown in the main screen. The description for the part is displayed in the unlabeled field below this field.

Rev

This field displays the revision of the part shown in the main screen.

U/M

This field displays the unit of measure of the selected part.

MO

This field displays the manufacturing order ID.

Type

This field displays the type of the manufacturing order.

Status

This field displays the current status of the manufacturing order. Options are "Closed," "Firm," "Planned," "In Shop," and "Released." You can maintain this status only if you selected the Allow MO Maintenance checkbox in the MRP Settings screen.

Planner

This field displays the planner responsible for this MO.

Warehouse

This field displays the warehouse in which the MO is being built.

Supervisor

This field displays the supervisor associated with the MO.

Inv Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation code to which the MO build parts are being allocated. The name of the inventory abbreviation is displayed in the adjacent unlabeled field.

Project

This field displays the project ID associated with the inventory abbreviation to which the MO build parts are allocated.

Allocation Qty

The field displays the MO quantity that will be built and allocated to the associated inventory abbreviation. You can maintain this field only if you selected the Allow MO Maintenance checkbox in the MRP Settings screen.

Open Qty

This field displays the quantity yet to be completed for the given inventory abbreviation allocation.

Open Yield Qty

This field displays the quantity yet to be completed against the MO for the given inventory abbreviation allocation. It includes scrap/yield losses. This field is displayed only if you selected the Incl Scrap/Yield % in Planning Process checkbox in the Production Control Settings screen in Costpoint Production Control.

Completed Qty

This field displays the quantity that has been built and relieved against the MO for the given inventory abbreviation allocation.

Sugg Open Qty

This field displays the open quantity suggested by MRP.

MO Dates

Due

This field displays the date on which the MO is due to be completed. You can maintain this field only if you selected the Allow PO Maintenance checkbox in the MRP Settings screen. Modification of this date also updates the Plnd Avail date.

Plnd In Shop

This field displays the date on which the MO is planned for release to the shop floor. This field is not displayed if the MO Status is "In Shop."

Plnd Release

This field displays the date on which the date is planned for release to the stockroom. This field is not displayed if the MO Status is "Released" or "In Shop."

Plnd Avail

This field displays the date on which the parts built with the MO will be available. The system calculates this value by adding the part's manufacturing stocking lead time to the Due date.

Need

This field displays the date on which the MO must be completed.

Suggested Due

This field displays the due date suggested by the MRP system. The system calculates this value by subtracting the manufacturing stocking lead time from the need date.

Suggested In Shop

This field displays the date suggested by the system for releasing the manufacturing order to the shop floor. The system calculates this value by subtracting the manufacturing, manufacturing inspection, and manufacturing stocking lead times from the need date of the requirement.

Suggested Release

This field displays the release date suggested by the system. The system calculates this value by subtracting the manufacturing picking, manufacturing, manufacturing inspection, and manufacturing stocking lead times from the need date of the requirement.
