Use this subtask to view open demand requirements/ reservations for the selected part(s), projects and warehouse (if entered). Reservations include manufacturing order requirement reservations, reservations for inventory sales order lines and component lines, purchase order and requisition reservations, and regular inventory reservations.
You can modify what rows are displayed in the grid by checking or unchecking the Display All Periods and Display All Product Family Parts checkboxes in the header.
This field displays the part ID for the part selected on the main screen. The part description displays in the unlabeled field to the right of this one.
This field displays the part revision number.
This field displays the planning code for the schedule entered on the main screen ("P" is the code for the "official" MPS Production plan; other codes represent "what-if" plans).
This field displays the warehouse specified on the main screen. This field is hidden if no warehouse was entered on the main screen.
This field displays the part's default or inventory unit of measure.
When you first display the screen, it displays only the demand requirements due in the time period selected on the main screen grid. Select this checkbox if you want to see planned orders for all periods.
Select this checkbox if you want to see demand for all parts in the same product family. This checkbox is available only if you selected the Include Prod Family Supply/Demand option on the Edit Master Production Schedules screen.
This field displays the ending date of the period for which demand information displays. It loads from the period end date for the row selected on the main screen grid.
This column displays the date this demand requirement is needed by the customer or next-level order.
This field displays the type of requirement (i.e., planned order, purchase order reservation, requisition reservation, forecast requirement, manufacturing order requirement, sales order reservation, or safety stock).
This field displays the open demand quantity for this requirement (in the part’s default or inventory unit of measure).
This field displays the order, requisition, or reservation number of the demand requirement (e.g. manufacturing order ID, sales order ID).
If the requirement record is from a purchase order reservation, this field displays the release number of the purchase order.
The line number of the requirement record displays in this column (e.g., reservation line, sales order line).
This field displays the current status of the requirement referenced on the row:
For purchase requisition reservations the status can be "Pending," "In-Approval," or "Approved."
For manufacturing order requirements the status can be "Firmed," "Released," or "In-Shop."
For purchase order reservations the status can be "Pending" or "Open."
For issue/transfer reservations the status can be "Pending" or "Approved."
For sales orders the status can be "Pending," "In-approval," or "Approved."
Pending inventory reservations (i.e., requests) and sales orders do not display unless MRP Settings specifies that they should be included (Include as demand – Pending Sales Orders and Pending Inventory Requests).
This field displays the ID of the part associated with the requirement. This column displays only if you check the Display All Product Family Parts checkbox.
This field displays the part revision number of the part associated with the demand requirement. This column displays only if you check the Display All Product Family Parts checkbox.
This field displays the description of the part associated with the demand requirement. This column displays only if you check the Display All Product Family Parts checkbox.
This field displays the inventory abbreviation the requirement will be consumed by.
This field displays the name of the inventory abbreviation.
This field displays the assigned project ID for the requirement inventory abbreviation.
This field displays the planner associated with the order/reservation.
This field displays the demand requirement’s warehouse ID.
If a requirement specifies a requirement for a specific Bill of Material (BOM) configuration, the configuration ID displays here.
For manufacturing order requirements, the ID of the part being built on the manufacturing order displays here.
For manufacturing order requirements, the revision of the part being on the manufacturing order displays here.
For manufacturing order requirements, the description of the part being on the manufacturing order displays here.
This field displays the type of order referenced on the demand requirement/reservation.
This field displays the order ID referenced on the demand requirement/reservation.
