Requirements Subtask

Use this subtask to view all requirements identified by the MPS process for the selected message line's part, inventory abbreviation, and warehouse (if a warehouse ID was entered in the main form header). This subtask lists the requirement type, order/reservation number and the assembly part (for manufacturing requirements). The requirements sort by Need Date order.

Part

This field displays the ID for the part on the selected action message on the main screen. The part name displays in the unlabeled field below this one.

Rev

This field displays the part revision number.

Part Make/Buy

This field indicates whether the part is a "Make" or "Buy" part.

Inv Abbrev

This field displays the inventory abbreviation associated with the part/action message row selected in the main screen. The inventory abbreviation name displays in the field to the right.

Warehouse

This field displays the warehouse ID entered on the main screen.

Project

This field displays the inventory project ID for the inventory abbreviation on the action message row selected in the main screen. The project abbreviation and project name display in the two fields to the right. You can also access this information in the Part Detail subtask.

Table Window

Need Date

This field displays the date on which the inventory must be issued to the requirement.

Requirement Type

This field displays the type of order or reservation requirement: "MO," "Planned Order," "Purchase Order," "Requisition," "Sales Order," "Reservation," "Forecast," or "Safety Stock."

Order/Reservation

This field displays the requirement order, requisition, or reservation number.

Line

This field displays the order or reservation line number for the requirement.

Required Qty

This field displays the open required quantity for the Order/Reservation row (in the inventory unit of measure).

Planner

This field displays the planner ID responsible for the requirement row’s order or reservation.

Assembly Part

If the requirement is for a manufacturing order (or planned order with a "Make" order type), this field displays the part number of the assembly to be built.

Assy Rv

If the requirement is for a manufacturing order (or planned order with a "Make" order type), this field displays the part revision of the assembly to be built.

Assy Part Description

If the requirement is for a manufacturing order (or planned order with a "Make" order type), this field displays the part description of the assembly to be built.
