Use this subtask to view a single-level listing of PBOM assemblies for the selected part/provisional part and make/buy code combination for that proposal. You can maintain these fields in the Maintain Proposal BOM screen.
These fields default from the main screen.
These fields default from the main screen table window for the selected item line. The Item is the component part for the PBOM assembly.
This field displays the sequential number for this line item as it appears on the PBOM for the assembly part.
This field displays the drawing find number for this line item as it appears on the PBOM for the assembly part.
This field displays the assembly part in which this component part (i.e., the Item) exists on the PBOM.
This field displays the revision of the assembly part, if applicable.
This field displays the assembly part's description.
This field displays the assembly part's provisional type, if applicable. This field will be blank if the assembly part is a standard part.
This field displays the component type code assigned to this component part in the Maintain Proposal BOM screen. Valid options are: "B" (Buy w/Comp), "S" (Standard), "P" (Phantom), "R" (Reference), "T" (Tool), and "D" (Deleted). You can assign the component type code to the part in Part Type drop-down box in the Basic Part Data screen (for regular parts) or the Maintain Provisional Parts screen (for provisional parts).
This field displays the quantity type code assigned to this component part in the Maintain Proposal BOM screen, and specifies how component requirements are calculated:
"A" (Per Assembly) - The system multiplies the component quantity by the number of assemblies to be created.
"O" (Per Order) - Requires a fixed component quantity for each assembly manufacturing order created.
"R" (As Required) - Component requirements are not generated for this assembly.
The default value in this field depends on the Comp Type and the setting of the As Required checkbox in the Basic Part Data screen (for regular parts) or the Maintain Provisional Parts screen (for provisional parts).
This field displays the component part's required quantity for the PBOM assembly. The value in this field defaults from the Quantity field for the line in the Maintain Proposal BOM screen.
This field displays the component part's scrap percentage for the PBOM assembly. The value in this field defaults from the Scrap field for the line in the Maintain Proposal BOM screen.
This field displays "Y" if this component is considered firm for pricing purposes in the Maintain Proposal BOM screen.
This field displays the work breakdown structure for the component part as it appears in the Maintain Proposal BOM screen.
This field displays up to 254 alphanumeric characters of notes for this PBOM line as they were entered for the component part in the Maintain Proposal BOM screen.
