Use this subtask to specify additional export options for employees. The first section controls whether default values are populated for each employee in the Employee History table. Remember, the only defaults you need to export are those whose user-defined table is being used in Deltek Time Collection. In other words, if you are not tracking data for UDT03 (Labor Location code), do not export a default to Deltek Time Collection. If you attempt to export defaults for fields that are not being used in Deltek Time Collection, the Employee History table will not be exported because these defaults are considered invalid records.
Select this checkbox to export a default account for each employee.
Normally, this checkbox is not selected because employees usually choose from a list of accounts when filling out their timesheet. If you do not export a default value, the field can be calculated in the Time Collection (ET) Upload function in Costpoint if no Account field is present on the timesheet line being uploaded.
When you select a project from the charge group list, the system first looks in the charge group charge line that was just selected. If no account exists on this line, the system will try to calculate the account, if it is a required field in Deltek Time Collection. The system then uses the default account from the History tab of the Employee Information screen in Time Collection Administrator. If none exists, the system will use the first account linked to the project selected.
If you select a user-defined label in the Account Type drop-down box in the Download Tables subtask, only accounts that have a value assigned to the selected label will be exported.

If you do not export a default value, the field can be calculated in the Time Collection (ET) Upload function in Costpoint if no Project field is present on the timesheet line being uploaded and a project is required for that account in Costpoint.
