Use this subtask to enter and edit batch-related data. The system tracks regular hours, other (overtime) hours, and total hours. Use this subtask to establish control totals for these categories of hours. Data is also provided related to batch start date/time, last date/time, and differences between the control totals you entered and Costpoint calculated totals. This data is provided by the name related to the batch.

This non-editable field displays the employee ID from the related timesheet. The field to the right displays the employee name.
This non-editable field displays the timesheet from the related timesheet.
This non-editable field displays the timesheet type from the related timesheet.
This non-editable field displays the timesheet sequence number from the related timesheet.
Enter the name associated with this batch. If the batch name already exists, the previously entered control totals are displayed, and you can change them. If this is a new batch, enter the new control totals below.
This field displays the user who created this batch.
The fields in this group box display the start date and time.
This field displays the date that the batch was originally established. If this is a new batch, this is the current date.
This field displays the time that the batch was originally established. If this is a new batch, this is the current time.
The fields in this group box display the last date and the last time the batch totals were modified.
This field displays the last date that the batch expected totals were modified. This could occur if the control totals were subsequently changed after the initial establishment of the batch. This field is updated each time a timesheet is assigned to the batch.
This field displays the last time that the batch expected totals were modified.
Use this field to enter the regular hours for this batch. The Total column will automatically update.
Use this field to enter the overtime hours for this batch. The Total column will automatically update.
If you enter the Regular hours and Overtime (pay types designated as overtime pay types) hours, Costpoint fills in the Total hours field by adding together the Regular hours entered and the Overtime hours entered. If you do not fill in the Regular hours and the Overtime hours fields, you can enter Total hours only. However, if you then enter data in either the Regular or the Overtime hours fields, the Total hours will change.
This non-editable field displays the system-calculated total for regular hours. The Total column will automatically update. This calculation represents the regular hours associated with the timesheets that have been entered (assigned) for this batch.
This non-editable field displays the system-calculated total for overtime hours. The Total column will automatically update. This calculation represents the overtime hours associated with the timesheets that have been entered (assigned) for this batch.
This non-editable field displays the system-calculated totals for regular and overtime hours. It represents the total hours associated with the timesheets that have been entered (assigned) for this batch.
This non-editable field displays the system-calculated difference between the expected regular total hours and the input regular total hours, which are also system-calculated.
This non-editable field displays the system-calculated difference between the expected overtime hours and the input overtime total hours, which are also system-calculated.
This non-editable field displays the system-calculated difference between the expected totals and the input totals (system-calculated totals). When you exit the Enter Timesheets screen, if the difference is not equal to zero for all three categories, you will receive a warning message showing the differences by hour category. However, if you did not enter Regular, Overtime, or Total expected hours, you will not receive this warning message.
Use this field to enter the regular numbers for this batch related to the number of timesheets being entered by timesheet type.
Use this field to enter the Other than "R" (bonus, correction, and labor only timesheets) numbers for this batch related to the number of timesheets being entered by timesheet type.
Use this field to enter the control totals for this batch related to the number of timesheets being entered by timesheet type. If you enter the "R" (regular timesheets), or Other than "R" (bonus, correction, and labor only timesheets) numbers, Costpoint adds them together to fill in the Total field. If you do not fill in the "R" and the Other than "R" fields, you can enter the Total only. However, if you then enter data in either the "R" or the Other than "R" fields, the Total number will be recalculated.
