Use this screen to assign union non-cash fringe ceiling amounts to locals. The Compute Payroll application applies these ceilings to the non-cash and stamp fringe amounts it calculates. The ceilings are applied based on the timesheet line's local value. This screen is available only if the Union Fringe Ceilings by Local checkbox is selected in the Labor Settings screen. If the checkbox is selected but no ceilings are assigned to a local/fringe code combination in this screen, no ceilings will be applied to that local/fringe code combination when payroll is computed. The Compute Payroll process will generate a warning report listing those local codes that have not been set up here.

Enter, or use Lookup to select, the local code to which the pay period and contract ceilings should apply. This is a required field. Once you have entered a valid local code, the local description will default. You must set up local codes in the Labor Locations/Local screen before you can enter them here.

The Compute Payroll process will use this date, along with the End Date, to determine the range of dates to which the local ceilings apply. The start date and end date cannot overlap with other date ranges for the fringe code. This is a required field.
